Trade is the only proven route out of poverty. Yet the poorest countries still face
obstacles to trade with the developed world and even with each other.
TOP exists to raise awareness of how much the poorest countries could benefit from
an opening up of markets to their exports. We research into the barriers that still
exist, quantify the damage they do and identify successful ways of removing them.
